THE 19TH INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING "EDUCATION FROM THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE PERSPECTIVES" IS SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED
On Friday, 15 September, the organisers of the 19th International Scientific Meeting on Education and Education in Education were organised by UP PEF in cooperation with the University of Kragujevac, the Faculty of Education in Užice and Jagodina and the University of Maribor, Faculty of Education.
The scientific meeting brought together top researchers, experts and students in the field of education. It highlighted research and practical aspects of education, focusing on the dynamism of constantly evolving processes and adapting to a changing world. Trends that could shape the future of education were also discussed, e.g. artificial intelligence, virtual reality, adaptive curricula, etc. Researchers were thus actively involved in exchanging ideas and experiences that will enrich the research and education community.
The scientific meeting presented 32 scientific papers, 2 plenary debates and eleven practical products (posters) by students from the 1st year of Early Childhood Education, Pedagogy and Classroom Education (1st level), which are the result of group work. The graphic messages will be on display in the UP PEF lobby until 17 November.
The organising and editorial board of the conference consisted of: dr. Andreja Istenič, dr. Mateja Gačnik, dr. Barbara Horvat, dr. Mojca Kukanja Gabrijelčič, dr. Vanja Riccarda Kiswarday, dr. Maja Lebeničnik, dr. Maja Mezgec and dr. Marina Volk.
The conference also resulted in a monography. It is available in electronic format and comprises 33 scientific contributions from more than 60 experts in various academic fields. With the contributions in the monograph, the researchers open up a space of debate in the light of the past and the future in the fields of teacher education and training, psychology, special didactics and the education of pupils with special needs.
