Successful information and communication with students is ensured by Student Affairs Offices at individual faculties. In addition to personal contact, communication takes place via e-mail, through the Student Information System (SIS), e-classroom and other communication tools.
E-mail
All students of the University of Primorska will be assigned a student e-mail address in SIS, which they must use for all communication with the faculty/university. Each student will therefore have the address enrolment@student.upr.si (enrolment = enrolment number), which will be used for communication with the Student Services, assistants and professors, and other university employees.
It is the duty of students to check their university e-mails regularly, as it is at this address that they will receive all messages related to their studies and extracurricular activities. Under each e-mail students must sign with their first and last name.
We offer students e-mails through the free Office 365 package, which includes Outlook for email management.
ŠIS – Student Information System
Student Information System - SIS is the basic tool of all UP students, which allows them access to the index, faculty notifications, exam applications and other content and tools necessary for the course of study.
Students access SIS with a username (registration number) and password via their faculty's website.
The same username/password can be used for the e-classroom, wi-fi network as well as to log in to the faculty’s computers
Your index is available in electronic form within SIS. Your Transcript of Records is issued by the Student Office and your Certificate of Enrolment can be found within SIS and printed out.
Zoom
All students will be assigned a ZOOM licence. We suggest you to install the programme from the website https://upr-si.zoom.us.
Student ID
The student card with a valid sticker for the current academic year is the basic document with which the student demonstrates his status and asserts his rights, and also allows entry to the UP premises and library. Students collect their student cards and stickers from their faculty office.
From the 2022/2023 academic year onwards, an electronic student card is also available to UP students. Students download it to their mobile phone via the Studo application.
