ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Foreign citizens and Slovenes without Slovene citizenship may apply and enroll in the 1st year of undergraduate study programmes, provided that they have:

- completed four-year secondary school,
- passed the Slovene language examination (if so required by the study program),
- completed education recognition procedure for academic purposes or completed recognition procedure for secondary school certificates,
- passed the test of artistic aptitude or psycho-physical capacity (if so required by the study program).

Enrollment requirements for individual study programs are listed in the Pre-enrollment Announcement (available only in Slovene Language).

APPLICATION

Those foreign citizens with permanent residence in Slovenia who (or whose parents) are taxpayers in the Slovenia and citizens of the European Union are subject to the same application procedure as citizens of Slovenia.

FIRST APPLICATION TERM FOR ENROLMENT

Candidates for enrolment can apply from 6 February to 14 July 2017.
The application for enrolment can be submitted electronically on the web portal eVŠ:http://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava/?locale=en.

Each candidate can submit only one application, if he is applying:
- with username and password: after completing the application electronically, the candidate must print the application and sign it. Signed application with the required enclosures the candidates must send by registered mail at the following address:

The application with digital certificate is possible only for Slovene citizens.

SECOND APPLICATION TERM FOR ENROLMENT

Candidates for enrolment can apply from 1 August 2016 to 15 August 2017.
The application for enrolment can be submitted electronically on the web portal eVŠ:http://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava/?locale=en.

Each candidate can submit only one application, if he is applying:
- with username and password: after completing the application electronically, the candidate must print the application and sign it. Signed application with the required enclosures the candidates must send by registered mail at the following address:

THIRD APPLICATION TERM FOR ENROLMENT

Candidates for enrolment can apply from 18 September 2017 to 22 September 2017.
The application for enrolment can be submitted electronically on the web portal eVŠ:http://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava/?locale=en.

Each candidate can submit only one application, if he is applying:
- with username and password: after completing the application electronically, the candidate must print the application and sign it. Signed application with the required enclosures the candidates must send by registered mail at the following address:

EVIDENCE OF FULFILMENT

First application term for enrolment:

  • candidates who already completed secondary school must send all the evidence with the First Application for Enrolment in the First Year by 14 July 2017 at the latest;


Second application term for enrolment:

  • candidates who apply to the second application term must send all the evidence with the Second Application for Enrolment in the First Year by 15 August 2017 at the latest;


Third application term for enrolment:

  • candidates who apply to the third application term must send all the evidence with the Third Application for Enrolment in the First Year by 22 September 2017 at the latest;

 

Candidates must send notarized copies of final certificates. Other certificates may be original forms.

All certificates (final certificate of four-year secondary school, certificates for the last two years of completed secondary school), except bilingual ones, must be translated into Slovene by a court translator and the original of the certificate or diploma must be legalized on the basis of:

  • The 1961 Hague Convention (at the court with territorial jurisdiction where the certificate or diploma has been issued); with properly filled in apostille form affixed or
  • the Autentication of Documents in International Traffic Act

 

Candidates must send the evidence of fulfillment and other requested documentation:

1.  Final certificate of four-year secondary school,
2.  Certificates for the last two years of completed secondary school stating general learning success for individual years,
3.  Decision on the recognition of certificates obtained abroad,
4.  Certificate for the Slovene language examination (if the study programme requires it).
