For you - European researchers’ night 2021
The University of Primorska, together with the consortium partners the University of Maribor and the University of Nova Gorica, have obtained the European Researchers' Night project, which will again be funded by the European Commission, measures by Marie Skłodowska-Curie. The project will take place under the acronym »ZATE« in the English translation »For you«, which reminds us that all scientific efforts are aimed at the well-being of each of us, which makes researchers true heroes of our society.
All UP faculties, representatives of the Slovenian Marine Mammal Society Morigenos, and PiNA – Association for Culture and Education – PiNA participated in the preparation of the program proposal which includes 21 different events (workshops, round tables, scientific quizzes, demonstrations of movement exercises, guided tours and presentations) and one pre-event. Around 35 researchers will take part in the implementation of the event which will take realized on Friday September 24. Due to the epidemic and the uncertainty regarding the measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, the program is designed in such a way that it can be carried out online, live or in the combination of those two. All events are intended for kindergarten and school children, pupils, students and everyone else who would like to know more about science.
The project coordinator for the University of Primoska and the contact person for registration to the events is Vesna Grahovac, PhD (email@example.com).
