Changes of the knowledge assessment
Knowledge assessment of some subjects of the academic year 2020/2021 will be changed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Changes were prepared by teachers and confirmed by the Senate of the University of Primorska.
Students will receive specific information for knowledge assessment of each subject from their faculties.
Guidelines for adapted knowledge assessment in times of COVID-19 epidemic
Changed Academic Calendar
Due to the long-term closure of university premises, the Senate of the University of Primorska made changes to the Study calendar, enabling:
- implementation of seminar, laboratory, clinical and field exercises or integrated practice, which due to COVID-19 could not have been fully implemented, to be performed during the winter exam period or Spring semester;
- supplementary examination dates for those study courses for which exercises or integrated practice was not carried out during the Autumn semester.
Proof of knowledge of the Slovene language for students of the University of Primorska - foreign citizens who are enrolled in the study programme of the University of Primorska in the academic year 2020/2021
At its 18th regular session on 16 June 2021, the Senate of the University of Primorska adopted the decision that due to the Covid-19 epidemic:
- allows undergraduate students to prove their knowledge of the Slovene language at the basic level (at least at level A2) until enrolment in the 3rd year of study; in case of enrolment in a higher year according to the transition criteria until enrolment in the next higher year of study or at the latest by the end of study;
- allows master's students to prove their knowledge of the Slovene language at the basic level (at least at the A2 level) before the submission of the final thesis at the latest.
