Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund of the University of Primorska is managed with dedicated assets contributed to by fund investors (the university, employers and other organizations and donors).;The fund is based on a partnership between the University of Primorska, municipalities and businesses. Its aim is to reward and encourage the best students at UP, establishing contacts between students and employers during the course of their studies, and to provide employment opportunities for these students as soon as they graduate. The objective of the fund is, at the same time, to support all UP students in achieving the best possible results in their studies. In this way the fund facilitates transition to the labour market. The final goal of the fund is to offer the most promising personnel to employers and to contribute to the transfer of knowledge between the university and the economy.

The Scholarship Fund of the University of Primorska has been operating for forteen years and during this time 517 scholarships have been granted.
