Newly acquired UP projects in October
October brought projects at national level and projects strengthening research cooperation with foreign institutions.
TARGETED RESEARCH PROGRAMMES (ARIS)
- Baselines for self-evaluation of research organisations in the field of knowledge transfer - ISERO, lead: UP FM, partners: NIB, IJS in ZAG, UP lead: dr. Simona Kustec
The main objective of the CRP project "Indicators for Self-Evaluation of Research Organisations in Knowledge Transfer - ISERO" is to prepare baselines and recommendations for monitoring and further evaluation (the so-called valorisation metrics) of research organisations in the field of knowledge transfer in practice in Slovenia. These organisations are developed worldwide to provide a fundamental support for knowledge transfer and to disseminate, support and promote the science-research-business-innovation triangle.
- Evaluation and interpretation of the innovation potential of Slovenian tourism, lead: UP FTŠ Turistica, lead at UP: dr. Emil Juvan
The project is based on a central problem: the lack of a comprehensive understanding of the innovation potential of Slovenian tourism. Despite existing initiatives, stakeholders still face obstacles, such as lack of financial resources, regulatory constraints and lack of competence, that limit their ability to develop competitive tourism offer. The main objective of the project is a comprehensive assessment of the innovation potential in Slovenian tourism and the development of a strategic framework for promoting innovation in the sector.
RECOVERY AND RESILIENCE PLAN (NOO)
- DIGICOMP PP - Developing and testing the digital competences of learners in adapted primary schools and institutions for the education of children and adolescents with special needs, lead Zavod Antona Martina Slomška, partner UP PEF, UP lead: dr. Karmen Drljić
The project was awarded under the Call for Proposals Developing Digital Competences and Foundational Skills in Computing and Informatics 2024 - 2026, which aims to contribute to raising digital competences and foundational skills in R&I for current generations of children, pupils, students and learners, with a focus on the classroom and to reduce the gap between labour market and education needs, and in the specific case of the project, with a particular focus on schools with adapted programmes and training institutions for children and adolescents with special needs, who represent the most vulnerable groups of knowledge recipients and whose empowerment is therefore of particular importance.
