New premises in Vipava for UP FVZ
On 20 October 2021, UP Faculty of Health Sciences officially opened the new premises of the dislocated unit in Vipava. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Vipava, Mr. Goran Kodelja, the Rector of the University of Primorska, Prof. Klavdija Kutnar, PhD, and the Dean of UP FVZ, Prof. Nejc Šarabon, PhD.
With the aim of a long-term close cooperation with the local community, other guests were invited, among them: Ms. Maca Pibernik Potočnik (Directorate for Investments, Department for Investments in Higher and Scientific Infrastructure of the Ministry of Education, science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia) and the Head of the Department for Investments in Higher and Scientific Infrastructure, Ms. Mateja Tilia. During the event possible solutions to the problem of student accommodation were also discussed.
In the new premises, the undergraduate study programme Nursing will be implemented.
