This website is dedicated to all those who are thinking about continuing their studies at postgraduate level - Master's degree at the University of Primorska. You can choose to continue your studies in the field you have already chosen at undergraduate level, or choose another field of study to broaden your knowledge and skills.

1. CALL
Please pay attention to the University of Primorska's Call for Applications for Masters Degree Programmes, which will be published at the end of March 2025, as it provides an overview of all the University of Primorska's study programmes and the documentation, restrictions and places available for each study programme. The application process via the electronic application on the eVŠ web portal will be possible as from 8 April 2025. Please make sure that you submit all the necessary documentation to the Student office in accordance with the Call for Admissions. The application process is followed by an electronic application on the Erasmus+ web portal, submission of the documents to the Student office and the final step, enrolment in the chosen study programme of the Faculty.
2. OBLIGATIONS
Check the possibility of applying for your chosen Master's programme and any additional requirements (see the flyers above for indicative information).
3. APPLICATION
You must apply online via the eVŠ portal.
4. DOCUMENTS
When you graduate, add your graduation certificate and other supporting documents to your application in accordance with the call for applications.

UPGRADE - UNIVERSITY OF PRIMORSKA MASTER'S AND DOCTORAL STUDY PROGRAMMES FAIR
You are invited to the postgraduate study fair, UPgrade, on Wednesday, 16 April, 2025, from 11.00 to 15.00 in the UP FAMNIT atrium.
The fair will host tutors, professors, postgraduate students, staff from the student office, and the career center, all available to provide information about 2nd and 3rd cycle study programs.
Take this opportunity to have personal conversations with representatives of individual study programs and get firsthand information.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need a degree before applying?
No, you can complete and submit your application as soon as the call opens (usually in early April). This will allow the referee to check your details and give you information about any additional commitments as soon as possible. You must complete your undergraduate studies by the time you apply for the Master's programme.
What is the application process?
As with the Bachelor's programme, you can apply for the Master's programme through the eVŠ system. Simply log in to your profile and fill in the details of your preferred course of study. You can apply for up to 3 UP study programmes..
Can I enrol in another study programme at the same time?
Yes, of course, but under certain conditions. You must apply for the parallel study places advertised, together with supporting documents and the agreement of your home faculty. The UP Statutes states that successful students who have an average examination grade of at least good (8) after the first year of studies may be allowed to study two or more study programmes at the same time at one or more higher education institutions.
