- Virtual meetings to apply for the European "Green deal" tender
On October 13th and 14th, a large international virtual B2B event took place, focusing on the current European tender "EU GREEN DEAL CALL". The co-organizer of the event was the UP FM Center for knowledge development and transfer, which has been included in the largest European business support network Enterprise Europe Network for more than a decade and supports companies in networking and involvement in international research and development projects.
The virtual networking event was attended by 2,491 participants from 46 countries, of which 46 researchers and entrepreneurs from Slovenia. Among them were seven researchers from the University of Primorska and three researchers from the InnoRenew CoE Center of Excellence, who at 19 meetings sought opportunities to weave new research links and enter into partnerships for joint preparation and project applications for the Green Deal.
We believe that the participants have managed to establish contacts with foreign researchers and entrepreneurs and to form partner consortia in which they will prepare and submit innovative project proposals for one or more of the eight thematic areas supported by the call. In total, over 3,587 virtual meetings were conducted on the virtual network in two days.
