- The Festival of the New European Bauhaus
A diverse and fully-packed programme, featuring discussion panels, exhibitions, workshops and art performances and much more is awaiting you this April in Brussels. Amongst others, Dr. Andreja Kutnar, head of the NEBAP Hub, will be one of the speakers, alongside notable personalities from the world of architecture and European politics. Dr. Kutnar will present the story about the establishment of the NEBA Academy at the University of Primorska and the planed activities of the NEBA Alliance, also led by the UP. The opening speach of the Festival will be given by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander de Croo.
The festival will also feature the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Awards 2024. From a diverse range of projects, designs and ideas, 20 will be selected that are most in the spirit of the NEB movement and are commited in shaping a sustainable, beautiful and inclusive Europe.

The project Green, Digital & Inclusive University of Primorska (GDI UP) is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the European Union – NextGenerationEU. The project is implemented in accordance with the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) under the development area Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth, component Strengthening competencies, in particular digital competencies and those required by the new professions and the green transition (C3 K5), for the investment measure Investment F. Implementation of pilot projects, the results of which will serve as a basis for the preparation of a roadmap for the reform of higher education for a green and resilient transition to a Society 5.0: project Pilot Projects for the Reform of Higher Education for a Green and Resilient Transition.
